guys i tried to download itunes 8 which i had itunes 7.7 and my iphone was working just fine, sense i install itunes 8 my iphone having difficulties to send music and movies to my iphone and it’s kept on saying ATTEMPTING TO COPY TO THE DISK “IPHONE” FAILED. Why are you still on 1.1.4? Should update to 2.1. That might solve your iTunes compatibility problems. Although either way I would think that iTunes could work with iPhones no matter what their firmware.
Try using the 7.7.1 iTunes to update to 2.1 then upgrade to iTunes 8.

URGENT! I need helping with purchasing the Iphone!?

I am currently under my step-dads account with ATT! He is paying $9.95 a month for me because of some special plan! I still have until December of 09′ until my 2 year contract is up! Now my dad wants to buy me the Iphone and he want’s to sign me up on a new account which he is paying for! I do not mind having a new number! Does my step-dad have to be there though? Even though it has nothing to do with him at all? And if the Apple store opens at 12 pm what time should i get there to make sure i get the iphone?

You know what…this would be even better. They can do a transfer of credit or service. Basically your step dad can release the line into you father’s name. The benefits are A. Keeping your number, B. avoiding the cancellation fee your step dad will have. Also, check when you are eligible for an upgrade, my 2 year contract was supposed to be up October of 08 and I was able to upgrade in March. So check, if you can upgrade early (which I am pretty sure you can) you can uograde and then transfer or vice v ersa…once the transfer is done, your step dad will relieved of all responsibilities. The customer care line is closed tomorrow so go into a store if you want answers tomorrow.
