new iphone 2009 reviews
Should I wait until Macworld (Jan 5-9, 2009) to try and get the iPhone for VZW or get the BBStorm?

I’ve read on multiple blogs that the iPhone is rumored to be coming to Verizon Wireless in January 2009 at the Macworld Expo. I currently have the Samsung Alias and I really want an iPhone but don’t want to (and can’t atm) leave service with Verizon. I went into the VZW store and they told me I am due for an upgrade on the 11th of this month. They also told me that I would be getting $100 + mail-in rebate towards my upgrade. Should I wait to see if the iPhone truely is comming to VZW or go back to the VZW store on the 11th and get the BlackBerry Storm? I’ve looked at numerous reviews for the BB Storm, HTC Diamond Pro, and Samsung Omnia. Touch screen is not a problem with me as I’ve had experience with the iPod touch before.

I’ve read that the iPhone could only possibly come to Verizon by 2010 as they have an exclusivity clause with AT&T until then.
What is rumored to be happening at the MacWorld Expo is that they could announce a new 32GB iPhone as well as 4GB iPhone nano along with a 64GB iPod touch.
Also before then Walmart is expected to join the retailers of iPhones & may sell a $99 4GB iPhone.

Well if you feel your sources are reliable (& they very well may be) I suggest waiting until the Expo & hear what’s up. But, based on previous iPhone related announcements, even if its announced then it wouldn’t take place until at least mid-’09
