How do I become a mobile phone developer?

Mainly software like apps and stuff and the general interface of the phone rather than the hardware stuff.
I have no clue how to get into it apart from learning some languages such as for developing iPhone applications.
I’m still in university studying Computer Science and I don’t know whether places like Nokia have summer internships and what not.
Any help would be much appreciatedn (I’m from the UK)

Is there a way to make Google Calendar sync with Office 2000?

I have Office 2000, and whenever I try to sync with Google Calendar, it tells me that it only supports 2003 and 2007; which is lame, in my opinion, since those are the versions I purposely avoided since the interfaces are new and flashy (and probably more system-hogging) and different than I’m used to.

Try finding its older version dude it will surely help there are many sites which offer you older versions i an in hurry so i cant tell you all of them but doing a google search or finding the trick on devilsworkshop.org will surely help…

I’m a Web-designer, I want to get into programming – specifically mobile applications, where do I start?

I know basic HTML, javascripting. Nothing more. Which is the best way to start off in developing mobile applications on Google Android? Also, what do I need to know to program for Google OpenSocial? Is there something more to J2ME and Google Android when you talk about Mobile Programming?

I’d say the place to start is non-mobile applications.

It’s almost like saying, “I want to program for national security software, where do I start?” Most mobile phone apps and games are java applets, so I guess the place to begin would be Java. Get yourself a beginner’s Java book and start practicing. Once you get very familar, you can optimize your work well enough that it will run well and leave a small footprint for a mobile device.

i know there’s a mobile application called NETWORK ACCLERATOR and i have used it but i m not finding any greater fast even after using it!!!
